Profile Information

About Me:
My key area of expertise is placing products or services into the expat markets of Spain. Successful projects to date include insurance, telephony, alarms, language courses and exhibition services. I have big networks of end users and distributors among expat residents especially on the Costa Blanca. I am always happy to discuss any potential activity with this user group.

I have tried to help many of the thousands of British and Northern Europeans who emigrate to Spain to settle in - we have organised Newcomers Clubs meetings, forums, free Spanish lessons and expat exhibitions. I have written extensively about life as " a new immigrant" in the expat press and I am regularly interviewed on English-language radio.

The backbone of this is an English language portal www.thisisspain.info which I have deveoped over many years and which I am trying to expand into a respected source of information about expat life in Spain. I am always looking for additional content and I am always happy to offer all Ecademy members free links or editorial space to www.thisisspain.info Just send me any links, articles, anything. As long as it relates to Spain or the Spanish it has a place on the site. No cost - my pleasure. Obviously, I am always looking for quality links to other appropriate sites. Please contact me if you can oblige.

I am also currently launching eight new Spanish property portals in English, Spanish, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Dutch, German and French. I would welcome contact with any professional estate agents who are active in the Spanish property market. The English and Spanish-language sites are nearing completion www.searchspainonline.info and www.todaslascasas.net whilst the Scandinavian sites will follow soon.

New Year, New Career

Agents required throughout Spain for new low-cost mobile telecom service to start in January 2009.

There is NO cost to become agent and all payments are weekly. There is no requirement to recruit other agents whatseover and no knowledge of Spanish is required.

Realistic earnings are available - certainly more than "a living wage" - for those who work diligently and excellent commissions for high-flyers.

Hi, my name is Kimberly and I am currently living in the United States. I am planning on moving to Spain in August and I was wondering if you had any advice on how I can go about finding an English teaching position. I would love your input. Thanks!

Hola Steve

Thanks for your comments, being positive is always good, however, that alone doesn't mean 2009 will be an awesome financial for one and all!

2009 is going to be tough :)

Hey Steve - I wish you would reorganize the front page of this site. Get rid of that 'activities" feature - and get the blog feature and forum features - up front and centre. My two cents :)

Thank you Steve

Not watching the football then?

I am trying to find a way to set up a recognised and respectable Guild for Complementary Health Therapists that give support to well qualified and ethical therapists. In order to do that I also have to find an Insurance company that are prepared to insure the said reliable qualiified therapists. Anyone out there know of an insurance company for a start?

Thanks for the welcome Steve. I'm here to watch, listen, learn and help as well where/if I can, and as far as promotion is concerned that would be for my website www.villawarehouse.com so I'll take your invitation to promote it!
